Rashi Bijlani Tandon is a Dance Movement Psychotherapist registered with the ADMP, UK (Association of Dance Movement Psychotherapists, United Kingdom) and a Rehabilitation psychologist with the RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) practicing for the past 10 years in the field of Mental Health. She is the Founder and President of Asha Hai, which is one of its kind project for inclusive education for children with extra needs. She is an accomplished Bharatnatyam dancer. Her experience in the field of movement fosters her belief that dance and movement enhance the smooth interaction of the mind and body. Rashi holds a double Master’s Degree in Dance Movement Psychotherapy and Clinical Psychology. Rashi conducts various DMP workshops across schools, colleges, hospitals as well as Rehabilitation centers in Delhi to familiarize people with the concept of Dance Movement Psychotherapy while demonstrating its usefulness in a therapeutic setting. She acquired a scholarship in LMA (Laban Movement Analysis) in Shanghai from the INSPIREES and Laban/ Bartenieff Institute of movement studies.

She is the head consultant psychologist at the Sitaram Bhartia Institute of Science and Research at their Child Development Clinic. She is currently closely associated with Shri Edu-Care limited and works as a consultant psychologist with The Shri-Ram Early years. As a consultant and valued resource person at Shri Edu Care limited she conducts training and workshops for schools all over the country. She is a founding Board Member and General Secretary of the Indian Association of Dance Movement Therapy as well as the Member-in-charge of the Membership Committee. GUNJAN BIJLANI

Gunjan Bijlani holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology with Distinction and Diploma in Early Childhood and Special Education. She is a counselling Psychologist and a licensed Special Educator (RCI). She has proficiency in helping people work on their family and marital relationships. She is a founder Director of Asha Hai Intervention Center since 2010 and has been working with children with special needs like Autism, Down-Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, ADHD, MR and Cerebral Palsy. She is also associated with Sitaram Bhartia Institute of Research and Sciences as a Child & Adolescent, Family and Couple Counsellor.


SHEETAL MEHRA

Administrator

Sheetal Mehra has been an administrator at ASHA HAI. She holds a Nursery Teacher`s Training diploma and an Early Childhood Care Education diploma from IGNOU. She is a seasoned teacher with 16 years of experience behind her. Her area of expertise lies in Early Childhood Care and preschool education. She takes care of the smooth running of the Centre. Her excellent management skills have been a great asset, ensuring a well-organized Institute.

Creative lesson plans and boundless energy is her forte. She excels in planning activities and lessons for the little ones in accordance with their interests. Inspiring learning in children gives her immense joy. In her own words – There is no greater joy than seeing a student finally “get it”


DR. RAFAT TRIVEDI

Pediatric Neurologist

Dr. Rafat Trivedi is a dedicated Pediatric neurologist with rich experience in treating children with neurological problems. Her expertise includes treating disorders like cerebral palsy, developmental delays, behavioral problems, epilepsy, genetic disorder, spine, nerve and muscle disorders, childhood strokes, headaches, migraine etc.
The sole objective is to provide comprehensive patient care and help children with neuro disabilities reach their potential. She loves working with children and has a sensitive approach towards patient care and rehabilitation.

Her experience includes working with children in clinical settings and childcare institutions, where she has successfully applied her knowledge to support their development and emotional needs. Ms. Priyanshi is passionate about helping children thrive by providing them with the personalised care they deserve.


BIPASHA SHARMA

Developmental Psychologist

Bipasha is a dedicated and passionate therapist specializing in child and adolescent development, with a focus on neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Intellectual Disabilities. With a strong background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Social Communication and Behavior Therapy (SCBT), and Play&Language therapy, Bipasha has extensive experience in developing individualized therapy plans for children with diverse needs. She is committed to using a child-centered approach that emphasizes rapport-building, mindfulness, and play techniques to enhance emotional regulation, cognitive development, and social skills.
Having worked with children ranging from mild developmental delays to more complex diagnoses, Bipasha integrates therapeutic methods with creative, engaging activities that cater to each child’s strengths and interests. Bipasha is currently a PhD scholar, with qualifications in clinical psychology (MA) and rehabilitation psychology, she is skilled at working closely with parents, offering psycho-education and empowering them to support their child’s growth at home.

Ashima Goel is a Child Psychologist at Asha Hai, Delhi, with extensive experience in working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental disorders. She is skilled in conducting developmental and behavioral assessments, creating personalized treatment plans, and guiding families through psychoeducation. Ashima holds a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Amity University and is an RCI-certified practitioner. She is also pursuing a PhD part-time, deepening her expertise in child psychology. Her play-based, child-centered approach ensures a supportive environment where children can thrive emotionally and behaviorally. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, baking, and spending time with family.


DAKSHITA YADAV

Developmental Psychologist

Dakshita is a dedicated Psychologist with a child-centric approach, specialising in psychological assessments, counseling and mental health interventions. She holds a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Amity University and has gained extensive experience working with organisations such as the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (NIEPVD) and Latika Foundation, Dakshita focuses on therapeutic work with clients, using a holistic and personalised approach to ensure their emotional and psychological well-being.

Nandini Pandey is a dedicated Special Educator with an RCI-approved license, specializing in working with children with intellectual and developmental disorders, including ASD, SLD, and ID. She uses a variety of personalized techniques like play-based learning, sensory integration, and visual aids to create a supportive environment where each child can thrive. Nandini believes in building strong connections with her students, understanding their unique needs, and fostering a trusting relationship to help them reach their full potential. She is passionate about empowering children to succeed both academically and emotionally, ensuring they feel safe and understood in her care. Outside of work, Nandini enjoys music and creative writing.


Pooja Pathak

Occupational Therapist

Pooja Pathak is a skilled and experienced Paediatric Occupational therapist. She provides paediatric rehabilitation services, training and education programs for parents of special needs children. She has passion for working with children and has done so for over 11 years. She has experience in the paediatric OT setting working with children who have fine motor and gross motor delays, sensory processing disorder, Autism, ADHD, Learning disability, Cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, Erb’s palsy, premature babies, mental retardation, visual motor, perceptual difficulties, and developmental delays. She received her Bachelor degree in Occupational therapy from National institutes for locomotor disability NILD West Bengal University of Heath sciences and her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from SVNIRTAR Utkal University where she also completed research and training in Special need children. she has obtained continuing education training in occupational therapy in NICU, Sensory Integration, Neuro developmental Training. Nishu Sharma

Nishu Sharma is an occupational therapist at Asha Hai. She holds her bachelor’s degree with an upgradation course from PDDUIPH, Delhi University. She also specializes in Ares Sensory Integration from the University of Southern California. She has extensive hands-on and clinical experience of 22 years and expertise in fields of pediatric motors, SPD, Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Language, and other developmental delays. She follows a holistic therapeutic approach to help maximize and optimize participation in valued daily life activities and interventions including the Inclusion of Children with disabilities in school and social platforms. She has also been a part of guest faculty lecturer at the association for the advancement and rehabilitation of handicapped. Occupational Therapist

Priya is a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist with a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Delhi University, India. She is a registered practitioner with the Delhi Council of Occupational Therapists. Currently, Priya provides individual therapy services at the Institute for Child Development in New Delhi, where she works with children with physical, developmental, and cognitive disabilities. With previous experience at Madhukar Rainbow Children’s Hospital, she has collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, including paediatricians, neurologists, orthopaedic surgeons, and psychologists, to create personalised treatment plans for patients.Priya excels in conducting assessments, developing individualised therapy plans, and implementing sensory integration therapy.

Khushboo Sachdeva

Occupational Therapist

Khushboo is a dedicated and passionate occupational therapist specializing in pediatric care, currently pursuing a master’s in pediatrics after completing her bachelor’s from Jamia Hamdard University. She has gained extensive experience working at Ability Child Development Centre and through internships in various clinical settings. Khushboo has honed her skills in early intervention and therapeutic strategies for children with developmental delays and neurodevelopmental disorders. She is well-versed in sensory integration therapy, motor skill development, and designing individualized treatment plans to enhance children’s functional independence and quality of life.
